Welcome to Mesa Verde! What a beautiful place to spend the day!
Here we are in Mesa Verde climbing one of the ladders up to the Balcony House indian ruins. It was a really cool tour even though we didn't get to just wander all through the ruins like we would have liked. But, I guess that is how they keep everything in tact another 800 years.

A view of the ruins from the opposite side of the canyon. We had such a great time hiking all around Mesa Verde. We arrived in Durango rather late and now we are cozy in our Best Western hotel room and ready for bed and another day of site seeing tomorrow.

Ruins are so interesting. Its amazing how people lived.
