Birthday Drive

We went on a beautiful drive to celebrate mine and Don's birthday. We hiked around and enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the patio of the Red Mountain Lodge Restaurant and watched the humming birds while we fed our faces;)

We decided to go on a fun drive around the Flaming Gorge area...so many beautiful places to see and we only had one day to see it all!

Right here we stopped to look at a herd of mountain sheep...they weren't even afraid of us, they just kept right on eating.

The old fire tower...it was built for someone to man it 24 hours a day to watch for fires. It is now manned by retired couples that volunteer to give tours for about 8 hours during the day. Not too bad of a job.
